For a moment, outside of Seymour, I glance up to find myself come to life in Jeffrey Smart’s ‘Container Train in Landscape’. On the other track, backlit by sunset, the freight train passes behind sentinel gums. I’ve been thinking a lot about how we belong. And in this second, momentarily located within an iconic landscape painting, I feel like I belong.
